What is your favorite thing about being a Junior Handler?
My favorite part of junior handling is the bond you build with your dog. Juniors isn't just about the dog, it's about how you and your dog work as a team. And that teamwork only happens through mutual love and trust.
When did you start Junior Handling?
I started junior handling in 2020 after my family got a Doberman Pinscher as a pet. Our breeder believed she was show quality and deserved to finish her championship, so they connected us with a trainer to help both our dog and us get started.
What advice would you give to someone curious about getting involved in Junior Handling?
Junior handling isn't about the wins - it's about the bond you share with your dog that lasts beyond the ring.
