How do you get dogs to sit still?
We ask them.
What if my dog doesn’t behave?
Our patience for dogs is limitless! For the most part with a session, we take what your dog gives us, but the number one key to all dog sessions is having patience. It’s easy for a dog to get excited with all the attention they will be receiving, and dogs will definitely feed off the energy of everyone in the room. Every session is different, and very few of them are easy! The images you see here are the final product of a lot of hard work. We go into each dog session evaluating the breed and how much energy they have, as well as the owner and how worried they are about how the session will go. We are not always trying to keep your dogs attention, simply observing them in front of us and letting them be can often bring out their personality better than anything else.
How long is the session?
At home sessions will last about an hour from start to finish including set up time. It’s best to take a relaxed approach and let the session happen at your dogs pace.
